The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
April 28th + 29th, 2017
The Importance...” premiered on St. Valentine's Day 1895 at the St. James Theatre, London. Since then it has been performed thousands of times and aptly described as a “trivial comedy for serious people!" Misidentities, witty banter, love, all conspire to be one of English's most brilliant comedies ever to have seen the stage. We should be so lucky the world had Oscar Wilde in it, and even more so, that he wrote at all!

The stage is a magic circle where only the most real things happen... A truer and more real place does not exist in all the universe.
